Physical Examinations

The Dell Health Insurance Association conducts physical examinations to facilitate the early discovery of diseases and to enable everyone to check their personal health.
Let's be sure to get a physical exam annually!

Optional physical examinations

Individuals who desire optional physical examinations can use Cafeteria points to receive additional examination items.

Use of point

Points can be used for the above medical checkups and optional examinations conducted by health insurance association contracted medical checkup institutions.
If you are not allowed to use your points at the medical checkup institution, or if you add optional items on the day of your checkup, you can pay for them in cash at the counter, and then pay for them later with the "Application for Use of Health Checkup Points".

Please submit the following documents to the health insurance union.

Second examination (Reexamination)

The cost of reexamination requiring follow-up examination (reexamination after X months and other reexamination that is not urgent) and examination and treatment are handled under health insurance. In addition, the cost of reexamination and in-depth examination at a non-contracted medical institution (30% copay) will be the responsibility of the individual. (Some contracted medical institutions handle such services under health insurance. Be sure to check in advance.)

Scheduling Physical Examinations

The flow of scheduling a physical examination is as follows.

  1. Access the Health Insurance website's "Physical Examination Appointment Scheduling System." Click "Medical Institution Information List," and select the medical institution where you want to be examined.
  2. Schedule the examination.
    • Medical institutions without appointment scheduling on the website

      1. Call the medical institution and schedule the examination.
      2. Access the "Physical Examination Appointment Scheduling System" and click "Schedule by phone."
        Enter the details of the appointment you made by phone.
    • Medical institutions with appointment scheduling on the website
      (Online appointment scheduling)
      1. Access the "Physical Examination Appointment Scheduling System" and click "Schedule online."
        Request an appointment.
    * A user ID and password are required to log in.
  3. Receive the "Physical Examination Approval Form" and check the contents.
  4. Undergo the examination.
    Please be sure to bring the following on the day of your appointment.
    • Physical Examination Approval Form
    • Sample containers, questionnaires, etc., sent by the medical institution
    • Insurance card
    * Individuals who do not qualify as the insured person or a dependent of the insured person on the day of the examination will be responsible for the full cost of the examination.

Changing/Canceling Appointments

  1. Call the medical institution where you scheduled the examination.
    Contact the medical institution where you scheduled the examination and get approval for the change or cancelation.

    Register the changes to the appointment details, the cancelation, etc.
    A new "Physical Examination Approval Form" with the contents of the change will be sent to you by postal mail.
    (Notification is also sent to the medical institution at the same time.)
    * Be sure to contact Customer Service as indicated above after getting approval for the change, cancelation, etc., from the medical institution where you made the appointment.
